Set in the beautiful and serene Tyne Valley, only seven miles outside the centre of Newcastle and nestled between the banks of the River Tyne, the 250-year-old Close House estate has been lovingly formed into two of the best courses in the country. Situated near the ancient remains of Hadrian’s Wall, we present the only Lee Westwood golf courses in the UK – one being the stunning Colt Course.
Your entry fee includes:
- Overnight stay in a luxury courtyard suite (based on sharing twin/double room)
- 3 course dinner on the Monday evening in the Westwood suite
- Breakfast on the Tuesday morning in the Westwood suite
- 1 x round of golf on the Championship Colt course
- 1 x round of golf on the Filly course

- 1st tee announcement
- Nearest the pins each day

we would require £100.00 per person non refundable deposit to secure your place and the remaining balance paid in full 8 weeks prior to the event date.
Upgraded accommodation is available into the Pavilion or Gatehouse lodge with hot tub for an additional fee and these sleep 4 golfers sharing twin or double rooms.
Tee Times & Groupings
Monday 13th April – Filly Course: Tee times from 12.00pm
Tuesday 14th April – Colt Course: Tee times from 9.00am
Players who book in groups will be drawn out together on the tee sheet and will therefore play together.
All event information will be sent out via email no later than 7 days prior to the event.

Individual prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
NTP: There will be two Nearest the Pin prizes each day
Event Format
Pairs stableford combined over 36 holes – Open to Male and Female golfers.
85% Handicap Allowance.
